Key Components

Entangle Blockchain

All smart contracts of Data Stream protocol are located here. They responsible for Transmitter Agents consensus, data finality and writing it with emitting of corresponding event.

Relayer: Transmitter Agents

This off-chain machines collect data from any source, optionally preprocess and aggregate it and vote for updates every round. In addition they decide then to update it on external blockchains.

Signer: Executor Agent

External developer agent, which turns rounds and execute price update transactions on external blockchains.

How

Entangle's Universal Data Feeds work similar to the Photon Messaging Protocol, but instead of transmitting data between two blockchains, it delivers any data to smart contracts on-demand.

Transmitters fetch data and send an update to Entangle Blockchain each round. Then Executor Agents execute data finalization.

Data updates on external blockchains occurs through Photon Messaging.

Transmitter Agents check finalized data, vote on an update and once consensus is achieved, Executor Agent update data on external blockchains.
